Starlink Constellation

Starlink Constellation refers to a network of satellites developed and deployed by SpaceX, designed to provide high-speed, low-latency broadband internet service across the globe, particularly in underserved and rural areas. The constellation consists of thousands of small satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO) that communicate with ground stations and user terminals. By operating in LEO, Starlink aims to reduce the distance signals must travel, thereby improving internet speed and reliability compared to traditional satellite internet services. The ongoing deployment of the Starlink constellation is intended to facilitate global internet coverage, enabling users to access the internet from virtually anywhere on the planet.
