SpaceX Falcon 9

SpaceX Falcon 9 is a two-stage orbital launch vehicle designed and manufactured by SpaceX, a private aerospace company founded by Elon Musk. The Falcon 9 is renowned for its reuse capability, allowing its first stage to land back on Earth after delivering payloads to orbit, significantly reducing the cost of space travel. The rocket measures approximately 70 meters in height and is powered by Merlin engines that use rocket-grade kerosene and liquid oxygen (RP-1/LOX) as propellants. It is commonly used for launching satellites, resupplying the International Space Station (ISS), and supporting crewed missions as part of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program. The Falcon 9’s reliable performance and frequent launches have established it as one of the leading launch vehicles in the space industry.
