Satellite Broadband

Satellite broadband is a type of internet connection that uses satellite technology to provide high-speed internet access. This service involves transmitting data from a ground station to a satellite in orbit, which then relays the data back to the user’s satellite dish installed at their location. Satellite broadband is particularly useful in rural or remote areas where traditional wired internet options, such as DSL or fiber-optic connections, are not available or are limited. It allows users to access the internet for various activities, including web browsing, streaming, and gaming, albeit usually with higher latency compared to terrestrial broadband services.
