Project Kuiper

Project Kuiper is a satellite internet constellation initiative developed by Amazon. It aims to provide high-speed broadband internet access to underserved and remote areas around the world. The project plans to deploy thousands of small satellites in low Earth orbit that will work in conjunction with ground stations and user terminals to deliver internet connectivity. Named after the Kuiper Belt, a region of the Solar System beyond Neptune that contains many small celestial bodies, the project reflects Amazon’s ambition to expand its technology and telecommunications capabilities.
