Oceania

Oceania is a geographic region that includes various islands and island nations located in the Pacific Ocean. It encompasses a diverse array of cultures, languages, and ecosystems, extending from New Zealand in the south to the islands of Hawaii in the north, and from the eastern islands of Polynesia to the western coastal regions of Melanesia and Micronesia. Oceania is characterized by its numerous archipelagos, including the significant regions of Melanesia (which includes countries like Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, and Fiji), Micronesia (including the Federated States of Micronesia, Palau, and Marshall Islands), and Polynesia (including Samoa, Tonga, and Tuvalu). The term also includes Australia and New Zealand. Oceania is distinguished by its natural beauty, rich biodiversity, and cultural heritage, with a history that reflects a complex tapestry of indigenous peoples and colonial influences.
