Electric Vehicles
Electric Vehicles (EVs) are types of vehicles that are powered entirely or partially by electricity, instead of relying solely on traditional internal combustion engines that burn fossil fuels. EVs use electric motors fueled by batteries, which are recharged from an external power source. There are different types of electric vehicles, including all-electric vehicles that run exclusively on electricity, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles that use a combination of electricity and gasoline, and hybrid electric vehicles that primarily rely on gasoline but have an electric motor for improved efficiency. EVs are designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, decrease dependence on oil, and promote sustainable transportation. The adoption of electric vehicles is supported by advances in battery technology, increased charging infrastructure, and growing environmental concerns.
