Spacewalk

A spacewalk, technically known as an extravehicular activity (EVA), is an activity in which an astronaut leaves the confines of a spacecraft to perform tasks in the vacuum of outer space. Spacewalks are conducted for various purposes, including maintenance, repairs, scientific experiments, and installation of equipment on space stations or satellites. During a spacewalk, astronauts wear specially designed spacesuits that provide life support, temperature control, and protection from the harsh environment of space. Spacewalks are significant for advancing space exploration and can last from a few hours to several hours, while ensuring the safety and functionality of the spacecraft and its systems.
