Satellite

A satellite is a celestial body that orbits a planet or a larger celestial object. In the context of artificial technology, a satellite refers to a human-made object that is launched into orbit around the Earth or another celestial body, primarily for purposes such as communication, weather monitoring, navigation, and scientific research. Satellites can be positioned in various types of orbits, including geostationary, low Earth orbit, and polar orbits, depending on their intended function. There are two main categories of satellites: natural satellites, like the Moon, which are formed through natural processes, and artificial satellites, which are built and deployed by humans for various applications. Satellites play a crucial role in modern technology and global infrastructure, enabling services such as satellite television, GPS navigation, and remote sensing.
