Partnerships
Partnerships refer to collaborative relationships between two or more parties, typically to achieve mutual goals or benefits. In a business context, a partnership often involves an agreement where partners share resources, risks, and profits in pursuit of common objectives. Each partner contributes their skills, capital, or other assets, and they may have a defined role within the partnership.
Partnerships can take various forms, such as general partnerships, where all partners share responsibilities and liabilities; limited partnerships, which include both general and limited partners; or limited liability partnerships (LLPs), which offer some protection from personal liabilities for partners.
Beyond business, partnerships can also exist in other areas, such as strategic alliances between organizations, collaborations in research and development, or community partnerships aimed at social impact. The core principle of a partnership is collaboration and the pooling of resources to create synergies that would be difficult to achieve independently.
