Human Rights

Human rights are the fundamental rights and freedoms that every individual is entitled to, simply by being human. They are based on principles of dignity, equality, and respect, and are universal, inalienable, and indivisible. Human rights encompass a wide range of protections and entitlements, including civil and political rights (such as the right to life, freedom of speech, and the right to a fair trial) as well as economic, social, and cultural rights (such as the right to education, health, and an adequate standard of living). These rights are often enshrined in international treaties and agreements, such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and are intended to promote justice and equality across all societies. Human rights apply to all individuals without distinction based on nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender, or any other characteristic, and they serve as a foundation for peace and security, as well as a guide for national and international governance.
