Government

Government refers to the system or group of people with the authority to govern a country or state, typically consisting of elected officials, civil servants, and institutions that create and enforce laws and policies. It is responsible for making decisions that affect the society, regulating various aspects such as economy, education, public safety, and welfare. Governments can take various forms, including democracies, monarchies, authoritarian regimes, and others, and usually operate through distinct branches—executive, legislative, and judicial—to maintain a balance of power. The concept of government encompasses both the act of governing and the institutions that facilitate governance.
