Conflict

Conflict refers to a disagreement or clash between ideas, principles, or people. It often arises when individuals or groups have differing goals, values, or needs, leading to opposing positions. Conflicts can occur in various contexts, including personal relationships, workplaces, communities, and nations. They can manifest in many forms, from verbal disputes to physical confrontations. Conflicts may be categorized as intra-personal (within an individual), inter-personal (between individuals), group (between groups), or international (between countries). While often viewed negatively due to the tension and negative emotions they can generate, conflicts can also serve as catalysts for change, problem-solving, and growth when managed effectively. Resolution strategies may include negotiation, mediation, or collaboration aimed at finding common ground or compromise.
