Aerospace
Aerospace refers to the branch of technology and industry concerned with the development and operation of aircraft and spacecraft. It encompasses a wide range of activities related to the design, building, and testing of vehicles that fly within and beyond the Earth’s atmosphere. The term includes two major fields: aeronautics, which focuses on the science and engineering of flight within the Earth’s atmosphere (such as airplanes and helicopters), and astronautics, which deals with travel and operation in outer space (such as satellites, rockets, and space probes). Aerospace involves various disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and materials engineering, as well as physics and computer science, to create vehicles that can safely and efficiently navigate both air and space environments.
